Young Adult Academy

Although the school year has ended, New Day Academy is continuing to work with Cleveland-area youth to prepare them for success.

Any students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades will have an opportunity to participate in a FREE two-week learning and character development outreach program from July 14-25. The program will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Area students will have an opportunity to participate in learning experiences and workshops on topics, such as social media etiquette, bullying, teen violence, exercising, nutrition, health and reading. A career-exploration presentation also will be provided.

The young adults will have a chance to use team-building skills and showcase what they have learned through a talent of their choice on the last day. Other rewards will be made available to students who successfully complete the program.
