The Big Clean 2018 is Saturday April 21st- Register Today!

Save-the-date for ‘The Big Clean 2018’ on Saturday, April 21st, a community-wide clean up pitting Collinwood and Euclid in a competition to see which community collects the most trash. Building off the success of last year’s inaugural event, we are teaming up with the Litterbugz to make ‘The Big Clean 2018’ even bigger and empower even more folks to take action to improve our neighborhoods and our Great Lake!

The fun begins at 9 am at Villa Angela-St. Joseph (VASJ) School, 18491 Lakeshore Boulevard, to pick up free cleanup supplies. Afterwards, celebrate all volunteers’ efforts with free food, music, raffle prizes and more at VASJ. Best of all, we are bringing back a competition between Euclid and Collinwood to see which community collects the most bags of trash (Euclid won by a longshot last year so let’s show them up this time)!

Get involved by registering at www.thelitterbugz.org/events/big-clean-2018 as an individual or as a team leader for a group. Your block club, church congregation, and coworkers make for great groups! All registered volunteers will receive updates as we get closer to the cleanup event.

The Big Clean 2018 is a partnership between Keep Euclid Beautiful, The Euclid Beach Adopt-A-Beach Team, and the Litterbugz. Thanks to our generous event partners and sponsors, free supplies (trash bags, gloves, pickers), t-shirts, and refreshments will be provided to all volunteers!  For more information, visit the Big Clean 2018 facebook event, email itsthebigclean@gmail.com or call 216-571-0685
