Euclid Creek Public Meeting Sept. 7

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District and Ward 8 Councilman Michael D. Polensek will host a public meeting on Sept. 7 to discuss plans for the Euclid Creek Flood Control Shoaling Removal Project. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church Community Room at 17403 Nottingham Rd.

This three-month project will address flooding and water quality along 1500 feet of the Euclid Creek flood control channel. This project will include the removal of sediment to improve flow and protect the environment.

The project is part of the Regional Stormwater Management Program and work will begin in October. There will be some construction impacts -- such as noise -- but efforts will be made to minimize any disruption to residents.
