We're Working on the Collinwood School Fire Memorial Garden

Clearing the Garden

First 2017 Little Red Cap Project Work Days: May 17 & 18:

Look at it now!

Thanks to the Memorial School Track Team, & our Seventh & Eighth Graders (our Memorial Garden Angels), - the Memorial Garden is looking wonderful!

These students put in some serious work, clearing the weeds & even trimming things up. And, planting our annual red & white geraniums (Memorial’s school colors, of course)  - in both the front & back of our Garden.

Do drive by some time, & see what all their hard work accomplished. The Garden is looking the best it has in quite awhile - & the even better news is, these students hope to keep working on the Garden over the summer.

Our very much appreciated thanks to: the Memorial Track Team / 8th Graders: CJ  Smiley, Emani Baker, Jadon Jackson, William Smith, and Rashard Willis

and our 7th Graders: Jayana  McLaurin, Lashawn Beard Jr, Dalyla Bridges, Jordon Burton, Mitchell Braun, Alithia Payne, Jaberi Wright, Ashalia Simmons, Antwon Mikes and DeMeuSac Groggins.

And thanks also to Memorial teacher Najma Abdur Rahim (who really organized things), and Mary Bronson, Charlotte Iafeliece for coming out and helping as well.

As always, if you're interested in helping (in any way on this - we'll definitely need all kinds of talents and abilities to do this!) do contact us (Elva Brodnick at either carrollsell@gmail.com or 216 738 0626)

And thanks!
