Free Summer Lunch

Visit the Collinwood Branch Library for free summer lunch provided by the Cleveland Food Bank!!

**FIRST DAY for Summer Lunch is Monday, June 5th **

Monday – Friday, 11:30am-12:30pm

Cleveland Museum of Natural History (CMNH):

CMNH Vouchers are provided to the branch every month and are available to check out with your Library card! Each voucher allows FREE admission for two adults and four children. Vouchers must be redeemed within 30 days of checking out.

Make Your Own Music

Celebrate African American Music Month by learning about what your favorite musical artists listen to, and what makes them creative. Then be creative yourself! Create beats with the ‘Drum Pads 24’ app and work on your freestyle.

Read Up Rise Up: by Design!

Summer Reading Club 2017 begins Monday, June 5th.  This is to continue the popular, engagement-focused Read Up! Rise Up! theme and incorporates design thinking that encourages our youth participants to create, innovate, problem solve and explore.  Infusing a S.T.R.E.A.M focus throughout the summer program, participants will enjoy a variety of enriching activities, contests, challenges and events that enable learning and fun with reading, writing and other forms of creative expression.  Join us at Collinwood Library for fun, weekly programming.  **Call or visit the branch for registration details.

Cameras are everywhere, not just in your phone! Learn the diverse history of photography and get camera-ready to create the perfect shot!

Free Computer Classes- Computer and Internet Basics

Learn all mouse and keyboard techniques by completing a wide variety of meaningful, everyday computer tasks.  These classes will also explain how to start basic windows programs such as Word, Paint and a Web Browser.  You’ll even learn how to save and find files to help you organize your computer.

Block Watch for Wellness in partnership with Cleveland Clinic

Do you have High Blood Pressure or does it run in your family and you want to prevent it? Join us at Cleveland Public Library – Collinwood Branch for our Block Watch for Wellness Program! This is a small group program that meets once a week for 6 weeks. Learn how to manage your health, stay well, and meet friends in the neighborhood that can support your wellness journey! This class will be led by Caroline Peak, Manager of the Collinwood Branch. Caroline was trained as a Community Coach through Cleveland Clinic!
