The Salvation Army Boys Basketball Showcase

On April 20, 2016 there was a event at 17625 Grovewood Ave, where the Salvation Army is located. The event was a chance for basketball players from diffrent high schools around the Cleveland area to show what talent and skills they have on the hardwood in front of college coaches, and college scouts. These kids came from area high schools like: Ohio Connection Academy, Collinwood, Imani Cristian Academy, Mony Christian Academy, Straight Suns, and many more.

The basketball showcase was hosted by Coach Johnson, who is a coach and works with the youth at the Salvation Army. Coach Johhson wanted to put this Showcase together to try to get these young men with great talent, college looks, that could give alot of the young men a chance to receive a free college education, and play the game they love, basketball.
