July Events at the Memorial-Nottingham Library

Cleveland Public Library (CPL), 2015 Summer Reading Program. 

This year, the following cultural organizations are encouraging youths to READ+LEARN+HELP+EXPLORE through reading: Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Great Lakes Science Center, Greater Cleveland Aquarium, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, and The Children's Museum of Cleveland. 

The theme of the 2015 Summer Reading Program is music and dance.  Every CPL Library will have reading events in July. The events at your local Memorial-Nottingham Library will be held on Wednesday's, in the meeting room. Each event starts at 3:00pm and is for kids in grades K-8. 

Wednesday, July 1st. I'VE GOT RHYTHM, (Rhythm and Blues).  

Wednesday, July 8th.  DANCING MACHINE, (Pop Music).

Wednesday, July 15th. TURN THE BEAT AROUND, (Latin Beat).

Wednesday, July 22nd. I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL, (Rock and Roll).

Wednesday, July 29th.  HIP HOP HORRAY, (Hip Hop and Rap).

Thursday, July 9th. DRUM TRAIL, “Drum Trail is a popular, interactive, all-ages program that takes audiences on a journey through fifteen billion years of noise, rhythm and music…”  This event if for parents and their kids.

Jeanne Coppola

Jeanne Coppola is a resident of the Collinwood neighborhood, and is interested in art and writing. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cleveland State University. 

Her interestes include holistic living, and environmental and health advocacy issues.
