PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH
Growing Readers Storytime
Help grow your child’s early reading skills! Children ages 3-5 are invited for stories, songs and rhymes that will help them become better readers later in life. 30 minutes.
Tuesdays at 10:30 through November 4th
America Reads FREE After School Tutoring
Students in K-8 can get assistance with their homework. College students from Cleveland State University assist with any subject and/or reseach project.
Mondays-Thursdays from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Kids Café Snack Program
The Cleveland Foodbank in collaboration with the Cleveland Public Library offers FREE after school meals for ages 18 and under.
Mondays-Fridays from 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Bomba: Dancing the Drum
Celebrate Puerto Rico’s musical expression of its African heritage. Enjoy FREE screenings of the documentary film Bomba: Dancing the Drum featuring the legendary Cepeda family which has been keeping bomba alive in Puerto Rico for nearly a century. After the film, step up to the bonga drums and create your own bomba beats!

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month: Guatemalan Kite
Kids will make and decorate a miniature Guatemalan-style kite from tissue paper and plastic straws or bamboo skewers.
