Salute SNPJ Farm’s 75th with Joey Miskulin and Jeff Pecon, Sunday, July 6

Summer Sunday dances at SNPJ Farm have been an area tradition since 1939. Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of SNPJ Farm at a special dinner and dance, Sunday, July 6, with the Jeff Pecon Orchestra and Nashville’s Joey Miskulin of Riders in the Sky. The event also pays tribute to the late record producer Steve Popovich, who was a life-long fan of Cleveland-Style Polka music.

Families have enjoyed the finest in Slovenian-style entertainment for generations, ever since America’s Polka King, Frank Yankovic, played for the first picnic in 1939. Frank’s long-time associate, Joey Miskulin, one of America’s best-known accordionists, brings back the joy of those long-ago dances with the Jeff Pecon Orchestra.

Jeff and the band play music for dancing from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Dinners are served from 2:00 to 4:00, with sandwiches and refreshments available all day. Choose from savory roast beef, Smoked Slovenian sausages and more. Homemade krof donuts, too. Admission is only $7; children 18 and under are free. SNPJ Farm is located on Heath Road in Kirtland, Ohio, off Chardon Road (Route 6), about three miles east of Route 306 and six miles west of Route 44.
