Northeast Shores by the numbers

The staff and board of Northeast Shores persevere to make North Shore Collinwood a better place to work, work, and visit. Each year, Northeast Shores hosts an annual meeting where staff results from the last 12 months are shared with the membership present.

In summary, 3 neighborhood homes were rehabbed and 189 people were referred to housing programs including foreclosure prevention, credit counseling and/or loan programs. 73 businesses were assisted with a variety of needs including exterior improvements, loan packaging, zoning issues, site selection assistance, and/or permitting issues. Northeast Shores supported 4 community gardens, and staffed 218 community meetings with over 3,500 residents participating. NESDC was the fiscal agent to volunteer initiatives that received over $30,000.

These numbers alone do not share the whole story. Each person or business impacted by Northeast Shores had a need and we tried to fill that need. Each number has its own story to tell but we wanted to at least share the raw statistics on how we did over the last year.
