Breakfast with Santa was a huge success!
Many thanks to Santa, his elves, the student volunteers from VASJ, Gus’s Diner, Lucky’s Restaurant, the Alive on 185 committee, Family Sports, KeyBank and Northeast Shores for making Breakfast with Santa Claus possible. As you can see, a good time was had by all.
The children of North Shore Collinwood must have been very good last year! Santa visited VASJ High School again on December 10th for Breakfast with Santa.
The Alive on 185 Committee, VASJ High School and Northeast Shores joined together and invited Santa to breakfast with the children of North Shore Collinwood. Santa and his elves flew in from the North Pole to hear the Christmas wishes from the children.Bettye Hines, Branch Manager of the East 185th St. Key Bank visited Santa with her grandson. Bettye said, “I was very impressed with how well-organized the event was.” Bettye went on to say that she really liked the fact that there were so many things for the children to do. Bettye’s grandson had so much fun he did not want to leave. Bettye indicated that “it was a joyful time for herself, her husband and most of all for her grandson.”
French toast and sausage were provided by Gus’s Diner. Milk and juice were provided by Lucky’s Restaurant. O.H. Perry Elementary School entertained the families with holiday songs. After the children visited Santa and ate their breakfasts, they visited the craft tables where they decorated their pictures of Santa. The children also had the opportunity to enter a coloring contest sponsored by Family Sports. The winners of the contest won a bag full of goodies donated by Family Sports.
Many thanks to Santa, his elves, the student volunteers from VASJ, Gus’s Diner, Lucky’s Restaurant, the Alive on 185 committee, Family Sports, KeyBank and Northeast Shores for making Breakfast with Santa Claus possible. As you can see from the photo, a good time was had by all.
