Computer Round-Up

The City of Cleveland and the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District have teamed up

to  recycle  unwanted  computer  equipment from  Cleveland  residents.  All collected computer equipment will either be upgraded and distributed to schools or recycled.

August 20, September 10 & September 17 from 9am to 3pm

Residential computer and peripheral equipment accepted: CPUs, Monitors, Keyboards, Computer mice, Printers, Modems, Software, Cell Phones, Ink cartridges

Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Common household products found in the kitchen, basement, bath, and garage can emit toxic vapors into the air in your home. These products can also be harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly. Safely dispose of these products during the City of Cleveland’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection.

The following materials can be taken to one of the collection sites for recycling or safer disposal: oil-based paints (no latex), shellacs, varnishes, and polyurethanes, adhesives, wood stains, paint thinner, mercury (must be sealed in a plastic bag or container), pesticides, insecticides and herbicides, automotive products, motor oil, roof tar, fluorescent bulbs, household cleaners (oven and drain), primers and sealers, spray paint

Residential Waste Only! Materials from businesses will not be accepted.

Also not accepted: latex paint, propane tanks, household batteries

Composting Clinic

Join us at our composting clinics and learn how you can turn yard waste, grass clippings, leaves and light brush into soil nutrients for your landscaping needs.

Scrap Tire Round-Up

Drop off your old tires at no charge.

Monday Sept 12 through Saturday Sept 17 from 9am to 3pm

Up to 10 tires per household/vehicle. Available to Cleveland residents only. No businesses or commercial plates. No tires with rims will be accepted.
