Have a heart: East Clark students reach out to Haiti

Ms. Reagins, Library Media Specialist, and Ms. Smith, teacher, initiated the 'Have A Heart' Campaign to raise money for Haiti victims. East Clark students and staff purchased candy grams, candy, pencils, and hearts to place on a heart tree displayed in the cafeteria. The lovely heart tree showcases the names of students who donated for this worthy cause.  The earthquake tragedy of Haiti has allowed educators to provide a lesson in human compassion and good citizenship. Students and staff raised over 300 dollars. All proceeds were donated to the Red Cross. East Clark cares and definitely has a heart.
