Path of excellence leads to State Competition in Dayton! Anastiya Thomas, Ms. Britton, and Kiyla Cooper at FLL Robotic Competition
In the beginning of the year I really wanted to join the Techno Team. Being able to compete in the first competition was very exciting. Also, getting an envelope telling us that we were going to compete in the state competition was very exciting. When we finally made it to Dayton, I was very nervous. There were 48 teams in competing. Everywhere you went people walked up to you and said, “good luck” followed by giving us candy, pins, and necklaces. Our presentation went very well and the judges liked us. Over all I had a lot of fun. In the first competition we came home with the Best Programming Award. I think that more students should want to join the Techno Team because you experience a lot.
