NECLL sign-ups, workouts, and tryout

The Northeast Cleveland Little League (NECLL) preparation for the upcoming baseball season continues with tryouts, workouts, and, for those who have delayed, sign-up opportunities. NECLL, with the continued and much-appreciated assistance of St. Joseph's Academy, will hold its try-outs on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Villa Angela/St. Joseph gym located at 18491 Lakeshore Blvd.

Try-outs are meant for those ages 9-12 years of age who are new to the league or who have become eligible to play in the major league, having played last year in the Minor League Division.

9 to 10-year-olds will begin try-outs at 9 AM sharp.  11-12-years olds will begin at 10:30-12 PM. Parents and try-out participants are reminded to bring their gloves with them and appropriate clothing.

For those readers who have overlooked signing up or have simply forgotten, you may still sign up on the 13th during the try-outs. In fact, you may sign up and, if appropriate by your age, try out while you are at St. Joseph's.

Workout dates for the major division (ages 9-12) will be on the following dates (Tuesday and Thursdays):  March 23, 25, and 30th and April 1st.  The workouts will be held at the Bratenahl Community Center at 10300 Brighton Road in Bratenahl.

Workout dates for the major division (ages 9-12) will begin at 6PM ending at 7PM. All sign-ups in this age group are encouraged to attend to begin preparation for the season. Those players new to the league as well as returnees should put these training sessions on your calendar.

7 to 8-year-olds will hold workouts on the same above dates at the same location. This age group will begin their workout at 5PM ending at 6PM. This age group will also have workouts on two Saturdays in April - the 10th and 17th of that month. The Saturday workouts will be held from 10-11 AM.  Again, these workouts will be at the Bratenahl Community Center.

We look forward to another successful year and urge you to sign your child or children up for a summer of competition and enjoyment.
