Young authors getting the job done

Imani, Gregory and Mariah had an educational adventure writing about their amazing characters. They encountered many animals in the Big Books of our reading series. They found many fascinating facts in the Big Books and were eager to write about the animals after the stories. They became the illustrators for our class book. It was fun drawing and coloring the pictures for each story. Mariah’s favorite story is "Clyde the chameleon". Gregory liked "The Hibernating Bear" best. Imani enjoyed the story about "Farfollina the Caterpillar."  We are enjoying our student treasures.
