Increase to Income Guidelines for 2009 Weatherization Program (HWAP)
Housewarming Assistance Program is a federally funded, residential energy efficiency program that reduces the energy usage of qualified households throughout the state. The income guidelines for this program have been increased 200%. See the new income guidelines listed below. This free program provides residents with attic, wall and baseboard insulation, placement of energy efficient light bulbs, a carbon monoxide alarm and blower door testing for guided air leakage reduction. Furnace and heating system repairs or replacement may be included if necessary.
