Polka Hall of Fame Presents the Polka Stars of Tomorrow
12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Who are the polka personalities of the future? You decide at the Battle of the Polka Stars of Tomorrow, refereed by the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame and Museum, Sunday, July 18, at SNPJ Farm in Kirtland, Ohio. You’ll thrill to the best young musicians on today’s polka scene in a tuneful competition that will get you dancing.

Polka legend Eddie Rodick leads the day’s featured orchestra between musical bouts by the up-and-coming entertainers. Scheduled polka contenders include Joshua Kay (Cleveland), TJ Likovic (Cleveland), Garrett Tatano (Pittsburgh), and RJ Zolka (Youngstown). The winner performs at the Thanksgiving Polka Weekend, hosted by the Polka Hall of Fame, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 26, 27 and 28.

Vote for the music-maker that really gets you hopping. The dance pavilion opens at 12:00 with six hours of polka, waltz and pop music until 7:00. Home-style sandwiches and refreshments are available. Pick out a t-shirt, babushka, or polka recording at the Polka Hall of Fame Pop-Up Shop.

The Battle of the Polka Stars of Tomorrow benefits the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame Museum and Archives in Euclid, Ohio. The Cleveland-Style Polka emerged from the city’s Slovenian neighborhoods a century ago and became a national dance sensation that’s still enjoyed today. The Hall of Fame hosts popular polka events throughout the year.
