Solar and Battery Storage Workshop

Solar United Neighbors is a nonprofit dedicated to the goal of making solar power more affordable. It has partnered with the Cuyahoga County Department of Sustainability to present a series of workshops dealing with various aspects of solar power. The first is on Thursday June 4 and deals with Solar Power and Battery Storage. Participants will learn how to achieve self sufficiency and protect vital medical and other supplies and equipment during power outages. Financing options and tax incentives will be explored. Finally, participants will learn how to save 10% or more on the cost of going solar by forming a buyers co-op with other Cuyahoga County residents. There is no obligation. Members can quit at any time.
