A Brief Introduction to Gestalt Practice

This workshop is an introduction to hearing, seeing, and responding like a Gestalt practitioner. Through a series of exercises, participants will experience becoming fully present in the here and now and experience the difference in the impact they have using Gestalt principles.
Course Objectives:
• Describe the difference between presence as an objective expert and the embodied presence of a gestalt practitioner
• Identify the difference between working in the present (here and now) and in talking about the past (there and then)
• Describe the difference in the impact on one another when using a gestalt approach to interaction
Continuing Education: 3.5 hours of instruction
