Neighborhood Connections, a local grassroots grants funder, will be sponsoring a community conversation on Wednesday February 24 at 6 pm at Urban Community School on the west side that will include area groups and individuals who have an interest in programs for children and youth. Groups that provide art and music programs, tutoring and mentoring programs, youth leadership programs, youth led programs and more will be present.

The upcoming community conversation centers on groups and individuals who have an interest in the children of our city. If you currently have a program for children, are interested in starting a program, or have an interest in childhood development, please join us for this community conversation. All are welcome.

The event will be held on Wednesday February 24th at 6 pm at Urban Community School, 4909 Lorain Ave. Parking is free. Coffee and desserts will be provided. Please RSVP to Rachel at Neighborhood Connections, 216-393-4622.

Neighborhood Connections is a special grants program affiliated with the Cleveland Foundation. They provide grassroots grants to Cleveland groups working to strengthen the social fabric in their neighborhoods while addressing their neighborhoods’ most pressing concerns. Established in 2003, Neighborhood Connections has funded more that 1100 grassroots projects centered on the arts, beautification, education, health, leadership development, social inclusion and more.
